I fly a lot. Like, a lot a lot. I start my evenings with shiny heels, red lipstick, a sway in my step and a rush of excitement for takeoff and being in flight. AND THEN… BOOM! I get handed a dirty diaper, I get poked on the bum, and before you know it I am cleaning up vomit. Oh the glamour! It is fun and exciting but when I work I am also not sleeping, I fly international routes so my flights are always overnight. When we land I am definitely not stepping off the way I stepped on, my shoes are a little less shiny, my sway is more of a walk reminiscent from the walking dead (oh my gosh this season is sooo good), the excitement turns to obsessive thoughts of sleep, but my red lipstick…….. it is still perfect and on point. My momma raised me right!
